ORCHESTRA WITH FILM PREMIERE. OTHER-WORLDLY EXPERIENCE.
  • Holst's The Planets is colorful, emotional, and full of movement exactly what you'd expect from a trip through the galaxies and beyond.
  • Living American composer and conductor Eric Whitacre drew his inspiration for Deep Field from the first images produced by the Hubble Space Telescope infinite galaxies, containing billions of planets, millions of light-years away.
  • This weekend we encourage you to use your cell phone during the performance! Download Eric Whitacre's Deep Field app and use it to make music with your Charlotte Symphony during the concert.
