Charlotte Symphony Music Director to Conduct at Royal Wedding in May

Charlotte Symphony music director and conductor Christopher Warren-Green will conduct an orchestra at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle next month, Kensington Palace announced today. The service, held at St. George's Chapel on May 19, will feature a program directed by James Vivian, director of music at St. George's Chapel. The orchestra conducted by Warren-Green will be comprised of musicians from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the English Chamber Orchestra, and the Philharmonia.

This isn't the first time Warren-Green has conducted a major ceremony. In his storied career, he's led orchestras for the 2011 wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and a private concert for the Queen's 80th birthday at Kew Palace.
