8 Free Charlotte Symphony community concerts in June

Charlotte Symphony's Summer Pops concerts, at Symphony Park at SouthPark, are a highlight of the summer for many people. Some Summer Pops concerts also take place at Belk Theater.
Ticket prices start at $14 (in advance) for some. See the links below for ticket info.
Here's the Summer Pops schedule for 2019:
- Saturday, June 8th (Belk Theater): The Music of Queen
- Sunday, June 16th (Symphony Park): Star Wars: The Music
- Friday, June 21st (Belk Theater): Breaking Classical with the Gentlemen of Hip Hop
- Sunday, June 23rd (Symphony Park): Best of Broadway
- Friday June 28th (Belk Theater): Video Games Live
- Wednesday, July 3rd (Symphony Park): Celebrate America! With fireworks
Some are part of events that include food trucks and other activities, or an opening act.
