What Charlotte Symphony is Offering in 2020

The Charlotte Symphony will present a new virtual concert series featuring a different ensemble of Charlotte Symphony musicians each week, performing a variety of works and giving a glimpse into the music and into their lives as performing musicians.

Charlotte Symphony al Fresco will be hosted by Principal Cellist Alan Black and will take place in his backyard in Woodberry Forest, Charlotte. The concerts will be free.

Interim President and CEO Michelle Hamilton said, "I'm impressed every day by the musicians of the Charlotte Symphony. This series of 'al fresco' concerts is a wonderful example of their innovative spirit and commitment to their artistry and the community. I'm so thankful to Alan for allowing us all into his backyard so we can continue to share together in the joy of music."
