Q.  What are the differences in the seating options?     
Premium Seating Club provides a chair in a reserved tented area and includes VIP parking and a boxed picnic from Reid's Fine Foods.
Lawn seating is general admission on the grass.
               
Q.  What are the ticket prices?

All ticket prices are inclusive of ticket fees and NC taxes.
               
Q: Are prices the same day of show?     
No. Prices increase by $2 day of show.
               
Q: Do I need a ticket for my child?          
Yes. All patrons must be ticketed. While children 12 and under are admitted free on the lawn, they require a ticket/wristband for entry.
               
Q: What do I do if I purchase my tickets in advance?      
Individual concert tickets can be purchased online until 11:59 p.m. the day prior to the concert you wish to attend. Tickets purchased more than 10 days in advance will be mailed. Tickets purchased within 10 days of the concert will be held at the Will Call table for pick up the night of the concert. Series ticket packages: Tickets will be mailed beginning May 19. Ticket packages purchased after May 31. will be held at the Will Call table at the main ticket tent for pick up at your first concert. Should you forget your series ticket, go to any ticket tent to have your ticket reissued.
               
Q: What if I bought tickets and can no longer attend?   
A ticket purchased as part of the Create Your Own Package may be exchanged for a ticket for another concert in your ticket package (subject to availability). Exchanges must take place through the CSO ticket services department, no later than noon, the Friday prior to the concert you wish to exchange out of. GoPasses are good for either the July 17 or July 24 concert (not valid for Celebrate America!). Individual tickets are not exchangeable.
               
Q: Can I purchase tickets at the gate/day of show?     
Yes, tickets will be sold at several park entrances beginning at 4 p.m. on the day of the concert. Purchasing online in advance is recommended, for convenience, to avoid lines and to save $2 per ticket.

Q: How late are the ticket sales tents open?     
 Tickets will be sold until 9 p.m.
 
Q: Can I get in for free once ticket sales end?       
No. All patrons must have a ticket.

Q: Is on-site parking available? Is there a cost to park? 
Yes, parking is available on site. There is no cost to park.

Q: How do I purchase VIP parking?         
VIP reserved parking is provided as part of our Premium Seating Club tickets, and sponsorship packages (starting at $5,000). To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, call Katie Spicer Sutton at 704-714-5105. For Premium Seating Club tickets, call 704-972-2000 or order online at charlottesymphony.org.

Q: What should I bring?               
If you purchase lawn seating, we recommend bringing either a picnic blanket or a low-back lawn chair. Many patrons bring food and drinks to enjoy for the evening, although you may also purchase concessions at Reid's Fine Foods store at the top of the park until 8 pm.

Q. What type of lawn chairs are allowed?           
In consideration of other patrons' sight lines, we ask that you bring low-back lawn chairs or blankets to the park. Those bringing high-back chairs should select seating around the perimeter of the park. Please also be considerate of space on the lawn when selecting a spot to sit. For example, a 10x12-foot blanket should comfortably fit four adults.

Q. Are umbrellas allowed? Tents?
Umbrellas are allowed. However, once the program begins, all shade umbrellas will need to be taken down as not to obstruct the view of other patrons. No tents are allowed.

Q. Can I bring food and beverage into the park?
Yes. Food and beverage (including beer and wine) are permitted. Glass containers are allowed.

Q. Can I bring a grill to the concert?
Grills are not permitted on the grounds. 

Q: Are there concessions on the grounds?
Reid's Fine Foods, the Preferred Food and Beverage Retailer of  Summer Pops, will sell a variety of food and beverages through their store at the top of the park until 8 pm. Alcohol may be purchased at Reid's Fine Foods Store close to Symphony Park.

Q: Are there public restrooms?
Portable restroom facilities will be available in the upper parking lot.

Q: What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 5 p.m. on days the Charlotte Symphony is performing.

Q. Will I be able to reserve a seat or place a blanket in the park earlier in the day?
Patrons may enter Symphony Park and select a location on the lawn beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of the concert.               

Q. Are accessible seating areas available?
Yes, accessible seating areas are available on the grounds.If you have questions, please call 704-972-2000 Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to speak with a Patron Services Representative.
               
Q: What do I do if I need assistance getting on the grounds?   
Those with mobility concerns may park in the Handicapped Parking Area with a handicapped sticker/tag on the vehicle. You'll want to arrive very early, as there are a limited number of handicapped parking spaces. There will be a drop-off area close to the main ticket tent and entrance gates.
               
Q: How long are the concerts? 
Summer Pops concerts are typically just under two hours, with no intermission. Pre-concert Prelude concerts begin at 7 p.m.
               
Q. Are pets permitted in the park?         
No. For the safety and comfort of others, pets are not permitted at the concerts. Only service animals are allowed.
               
Q. Is smoking permitted in the park?    
No. Smoking is permitted outside of the fence surrounding the park.
               
Q. What is the policy regarding inclement weather and ticket refunds?               
The Charlotte Symphony performs rain or shine, and cancels only in the case of severe weather. If the weather is severe, and the concert is cancelled, patrons holding a ticket will be issued a "rain check" good toward a future Symphony concert. All sales are final, no refunds. Q: What if I lose something or leave something behind at the park?     
Contact SouthPark Mall Guest Services at 704-295-0975 to inquire about lost items.
